Day 3 Overcoming Burnout
Day 3. Today I want you to list every part of your job that you feel you are an expert. One of the steps to avoiding burnout is to start creating. I found that for a very long time I consumed information. I was always learning how other people did things and copying them. It wasn't till I had about 10 years of experience that I realized everyone is just making everything up. In the past, if someone said this is the best way to do something I just took their word for it with no thought of my own experience, but as I got older I realized that there way was just the best way for them and I might have a way that is better for me. So list every task that you perform well, this doesn't have to be only on the topic of work. If you have been perfecting your barbecuing skills put it down. If you have figured out how to make the world's best smoothie write it down. On day 6 you will start to create something that you can share with your world and you will get your idea for what that is with this list, but for now don't limit yourself to what you think you want to create just list everything you think you excel at.
